Openings for students are now available for study of authentic Carnatic vocal, Kathakali padams, bhajans, Carnatic Malayalam Christian devotionals, film songs, and Sikh shabad (languages – Malayalam, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Sanskrit, English). Resmi was the first teacher ever to pioneer teaching Carnatic vocal music online internationally. Resmi taught Carnatic vocal music at the University of Madras as a full-time tenured faculty member of the Department of Indian Music from 2004-2007. She earned her BA and MA degrees in South Indian classical vocal music performance at the University of Kerala in India. Many of her students have won numerous national & international competitions.
Resmi has 26 years of professional teaching experience with 15 years online and 35 years of continuous study of Carnatic music.
